Thirty shooters will compete in four teams and individually in both F Open and Field Target Rifle contests at Raton in New Mexico from August 19 to 27.

Australia will be contesting the World Cup event for the first time.

There will be a major practice event to coincide with the National Rifle Association Queens in Brisbane in June.

Queensland team members Jenni Hausler, Brisbane, and Cameron and Julie McEwan from Dalby caught up at the opening Prize Meeting for the season at Crows Nest.

Cameron finished best of the contingent, placing a close second behind Tony Berry from Beaudesert.
