​​​​​​​As an overview, to apply for a Weapons Licence in Queensland you need to:

have completed an approved firearms safety course.
meet the personal eligibility requirements
have a genuine reason to hold a licence 
have access to secure storage facilities.

The course must be done with a Registered Training Provider who is authorised to issue a Statement of Attainment
upon successful completion of the training. The QRA is a Nationally Recognised Training Organisation for delivery of 10618NAT Course in Firearms Safety. (RTO Provider 5308)

Firearms Safety Courses are conducted regularly by the QRA at the Belmont Shooting Complex.  
The QRA also has instructors in regional Queensland. Please contact us for locations and information.

     Membership of a Club may be accepted as a genuine reason for firearms licensing.
