AUSTRALIAN PALMA TEAM TRIALS

Our QRA shooters excelled!

Australian Team Trials

Skill, concentration and determination were all being tested as these elite shooters vied for those coveted team spots.

Today the Duncan Range saw the elite of the sport vying for a place on the Australian Palma Rifle Team. Shooters from across the country took to the 1000 yard mound, not once, but 5 times! Securing a place is not an easy job at this level. Across the mound were World Championship gold medalists, some are seasoned veterans who’ve done it all before: a few aren’t 25 yet! The level of shooting went up a notch!

Today was intense, but they get to do it all over again tomorrow! We wish each and every shooter the best of luck as they aim for the pinnacle of the sport!

Day 2 saw a brisk morning start at the 800 yard mound for our shooters! But there was a lot to get through before they could say the trials were over! 800 yards, 900 yards and 1000 yards.
