Sport and Recreation – Covid 19 Update, 18 August 2021

Covid 19 update 18th August 2021. As you would be aware, today the Premier announced that the strict conditions implemented for the recently impacted Local Government Areas (LGAs) will be lifted at 4pm Friday 20 August 2021, which is earlier than previously advised. The restrictions in the Cairns and Yarrabah Council areas will now align to the rest of Queensland.

Natives Rifle Club Prize Meeting

The Natives Rifle Club Prize Meeting was held on the beautifully prepared Belmont range on Saturday and Sunday, June 12th and 13th in lovely Brisbane winter weather, perfect for shooting, resulting in some excellent scores from the 117 competitors whose numbers were bolstered by members of interstate teams who were present to compete in the National Teams Championships which followed the NRAA Queens.

The Queensland Rifle Association fosters target rifle shooting and firearms training through our clubs.   Different classes of rifle shooting are conducted by our Clubs under the Standard Shooting Rules (SSRs) of the National Rifle Association of Australia (NRAA).

Albert Rifle Club

Small club whose members have many years experience in the sport of fullbore shooting bot target rifle & F Class and will always provide the assistance required to potential new members in order to grow to our sport and open it up to others.
