James Edward Herbert
James Edward Herbert MC was a member of the Nerang Rifle Club. He enlisted and served with the 26th Infantry Battalion in Egypt, Gallipoli and on the Western Front. Captain James Herbert MC died of wounds he sustained while burying a fellow Officer at Warloy Baillon in France on 17 April 1918.
