William Ernest Markwell
William Ernest Markwell DSO MID, was a Foundation Member of the Beaudesert Rifle Club. He enlisted and served with the 2nd Light Horse Regiment in Gallipoli and Palestine. Major William Markwell DSO MID, was killed in action in the Battle of Beersheba, Palestine on 31 October 1917.
