Women in our Sport

International Women's Day

Today is International Women’s Day – and this sport stands proud as we celebrate their work, their achievements and the value they bring to every aspect of our sport and throughout our community!

Our shooters are some of the best in the world! Our women are open champions; they are part of state and national teams; they are club champions, great competitors and part of our wonderful family which welcomes all! We compete side-by-side (all ages, all genders)… something which is relatively unique to sport in general!

But, our women are also great administrators and volunteers, doing the hard yards behind the scenes. They are team managers, team captains, mums who nurture their adopted family… they are the strong shoulders of support!!! They seem to have 48 hours in each day!

We thank you for all you do and who you are! Let’s truly celebrate the wonderful women of our sport by giving them are huge #SHOUTOUT today. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
