Ipswich & District Rifle Club is located on SSAA’s ‘Stewartdale‘ Target Sports Complex at Ripley in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia (approximately 40 minutes west of Brisbane and only 40 minutes drive from the Belmont Shooting Complex, the home of the Queensland Rifle Association). Ipswich & District Rifle Club is also conveniently located just 15 minutes drive from both the RAAF Base Amberley and Springfield’s Orion Shopping Centre.

The Murwillumbah Rifle Club was formed on the 1 October, 1901, and was affiliated with the Deputy Assistant Adjutant General (DAAG), to provide civilians with the opportunity to practice and improve their marksmanship in support of the defense of Australia. With a history of 115 years, the Murwillumbah Rifle Club today is affiliated with the Queensland Rifle Association (QRA) and offers shooters many varied opportunities to shoot, catering for shooters at all levels from beginner to the experienced. Target Rifle Shooting has developed into the modern competitive sport we see today, through local club competitions, Club Open Prize Meets, State Queens, National Queens, World Championships and Commonwealth Games.

The Beaudesert Rifle Club was established in 1905, and has had several homes in and around the township of Beaudesert. Our current location is Spengler Road Tabragalbra. We conduct weekly competitions over ranges from 300 to 600 yards. While the club is predominately a fullbore target rifle club we conduct the following disciplines: Fullbore target rifle, Fullbore F Class, Sporter/Hunter, Field and Rimfire and Shotgun.

Brisbane 1000y Benchrest Rifle Club – Benchrest only LIGHT Gun, HEAVY Gun, or BOTH (Belmont Shooting Complex)

Club members gather at the Clubhouse on the Duncan rifle range at Belmont prior to commencement of shooting on each Saturday afternoon at 1.00pm. Coffee and refreshments are available from the Club for anyone who would like to join us over lunch. During the afternoon, club members shoot twice at the distance prescribed in the QRA calendar for the Duncan rifle Range. Shooting for the day is usually concluded by 4.30pm after which members and guests adjourn to the clubhouse to discuss the outcome of the competition and enjoy the fellowship of the Club.

A small club which would suit the social shooter starting out in the sport. Gold Coast has an increasing number of young shooters joining which the club is eager to increase. One of our coaches for new shooters includes an Australian U21 target rifle representative who is eager to take new target rifle shooters under his wing.

Brisbane Mariners Rifle Club Inc (BMRC) is a target rifle shooting club at the Belmont shooting complex.
Originally the Royal Australian Naval Reserve (RANR) rifle club, Brisbane Mariners Rifle Club has existed since the early 1970s and is incorporated (No IA 19249) in Queensland.
Belmont Shooting Complex
The Queensland Rifle Association fosters target rifle shooting and firearms training through our clubs. Different classes of rifle shooting are conducted by our Clubs under the Standard Shooting Rules (SSRs) of the National Rifle Association of Australia (NRAA).
