Hubert Jennings Imrie Harris
Hebert Jennings Imrie Harris was a member of the Queensland Volunteer Rifles and the Chairman of the Southern Queensland Rifle Association Council. He enlisted and served with the 2nd Light Horse Brigade in Egypt and Gallipoli. Lieutenant Colonel Herbert Harris was killed in action on 3 July 1915 at ‘the Neck’ on the Gallipoli Peninsula.
