Natives shooter Kim O’Loghlen mastered gusty conditions over three long ranges to win the Metropolitan District Rifle Association Open on Sunday, 13th.
He was a clear winner with a possible 150 and 16 centres. Geoff Grosskreutz and Michael Collings continued their duel from the previous day, finishing locked together for the minor placings on 147 with 16 centres.
Geoff Wellburn from Pacific was just a centre bull away in fourth place.
Sydney visitor Bill Ballantyne won B Grade and University’s Mark Buckingham C Grade.
Brisbane shooters Bruce Talty and Philip Brook won F Standard and F Target Rifle respectively while Albert and Central’s Ernie Mace won F Open.
