Following the shooting on Saturday the 26th March, the AGM will be held.
The AGM is open to all financial members.
A member forum will be held after the business of the AGM concludes.
A meal will be available on Saturday night.
The service is open to all as we strive to build stronger community connections and acknowledge the significance of ANZAC Day.
The QRA website has a dedicated section for Governance related matters. You will find details of Board Members, sub-committees, Rules and By-Laws/Policies.
The latest addition is our Governance sub-committee details.
If you have visited the website you may have also noticed the appointment of Michelle Fletcher to the role of QRA Secretary. Michelle brings experience in the functions of this role and has built a lifetime of knowledge in shooting sports. Appointing a Secretary was a recommendation from the Board review, and allows the Executive Officer to focus on delivering strategic priorities.
As mentioned above the Governance sub-committee has been established. The Board will also be announcing in the coming weeks the members of the Finance sub-committee, Assurance Audit and Risk sub-committee and the Belmont sub-committee. We currently have a Competitions sub-committee who will meet this evening to provide advice on the format of our QRA State Championships (August).
As these sub-committees are formed we may see some members choosing to switch between the sub-committees, aligned to individual’s skills and interests. You will also see a mix of members and external experts comprising our sub-committees.
