James Leslie Saunders
James Leslie Saunders was a member of the Chillagoe Rifle Club. He enlisted and served with the 26th Infantry Battalion in Egypt and on the Western Front. Company Sergeant Major James Leslie Saunders died of disease near Tel-El-Kebir, Egypt on 1 February 1916
