What a morning it was at the M.D.R.A. Champion of Champions – 24 shooters and some hot competition in some difficult conditions! Nobody left after 4 ranges without dropping at least a few! 300 yards, 600 yards, 900 yards and 1000 yards.
2 days of competition between New South Wales, Queensland and Victorian veterans teams (over 60’s).
The first major competition of the 2023 calendar in QLD – supporting the QRA juniors development programs.
It was a hot and steamy 2 days at North Arm enjoying some great company and good shooting. Many backed up from the NRAA Nationals to come play at one of the trickest little ranges in Queensland.
The NRAA’s 50th National Rifle Championsips had it all – great shooting, less than great weather!
Steve Negus (TRA), Reilly Pitt (TRB), Craig Ryan (TRC), Henk Doggen (FSA), Darryl Patti (FSB), Frog Lowe (F OPEN) and Josef Ekkerd (FTR) have their names etched in history!

The annual Natives RC Prize Meeting had it all! New shooters shot alongside Queen’s winners. The atmosphere was something special!
What a great 9 days it has been on the Duncan Range as the QRA played host to some of the world’s elite long range full-bore shooters: Japan, Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia. Target rifle (A, B, and C grade), F Open, F Standard (A & B grade) and FTR.

The Queensland Rifle Association fosters target rifle shooting and firearms training through our clubs. Different classes of rifle shooting are conducted by our Clubs under the Standard Shooting Rules (SSRs) of the National Rifle Association of Australia (NRAA).
