The Queensland Police Service has responded to an increasing number of incidents within the community following reports of persons in possession of items described as firearms. On investigation the items were identified as gel blasters and on occasions the behaviour of the persons in possession of these items has constituted a variety of offences.

Building of the Armistice Centenary War Memorial

Kiwi shoots possible to win Duncan

New Zealand shooter John Snowden set a hot pace winning the Duncan lead-up match to the QRA Queens with a possible 300 with 33 centres over the six range event. John, from Ashurburton in the South Island, has been a regular visitor to Brisbane and is part of a strong 2017 Kiwi contingent.

Smooth Transition to Electronic Era

Belmont rifle range has now fully entered the electronic era with the two major Queens Prize shoots and all club events this year shot on the new targets. The transition has been largely seamless thanks to the work of a small dedicated team of volunteers led by Pacific member Bob Cramp.
