𝗪𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗼𝗳 𝗤𝗥𝗔 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗰𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗻.
Ken McLachlan, a respected and dedicated figure in Queensland rifle shooting, passed away leaving behind a remarkable legacy of service, leadership, and achievement in the sport he loved.

‘Though I have never considered myself a great shot, I have had my moments. I enjoy the sport and mateship as mainly a B Grade competitor. Over the years I and my wife Kay have travelled many thousands of miles, then kilometres, going to shoots – there wouldn’t be many ranges in south-east Queensland that I haven’t shot on.
The world has lost a great person and a true champion of our sport. On and off range, Glen was an inspiration to all and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Sunday saw Beaudesert Rifle Club celebrate the lives of two of its most loved members who passed a few years ago: Eddie Moss and Eric Dudley.
Marty realised a true passion for the sport and its people and changed the lives of many. “He taught us to look out for each other – work together – smile in the face of adversity – and enjoy life with a passion.”

The Queensland Rifle Association fosters target rifle shooting and firearms training through our clubs. Different classes of rifle shooting are conducted by our Clubs under the Standard Shooting Rules (SSRs) of the National Rifle Association of Australia (NRAA).
