2010 QRA Queens – A big week of shooting. North Arm Rifle Club member Colin Cole added to his impressive shooting career with his sixth Queen’s Prize victory at Belmont range in Brisbane. Colin was the last Sunshine State shooter to win the Queensland Rifle Association event back in 2006, giving him a tally of 3 QRA Queen’s and 3 National Rifle Association Queen’s titles.

F/TR Shooters World Silver Medalists

QRA members comprised half the 8-shooters in the Australian team which won a silver medal at the World F Class championships in Canada. The F Target Rifle team was narrowly beaten by the United States which won by six points 3400 to 3394.

City vs Country 2012

City shooters too good, yet again The City rifle team again proved their superiority in the annual challenge match against Country at Belmont Rifle Range in Brisbane on Sunday. The City team captained by Geoff Grosskreutz retained the open trophy they won last year with an aggregate score of 2554 to Country’s 2548.

The Queensland Rifle Association fosters target rifle shooting and firearms training through our clubs.   Different classes of rifle shooting are conducted by our Clubs under the Standard Shooting Rules (SSRs) of the National Rifle Association of Australia (NRAA).
